After more than sixteen years - yes sixteen! - combined service with the British Council, Martin McEwan and I have left to set up our own consultancy business. We'll be aiming to help UK and overseas based organisations improve their marketing operation, primarily in the public and education sectors.
We have experience in both on and off-line marketing, branding and market research, and we'll be using this space to discuss some aspects of our experiences, and to try and look at how current trends in the field are rendering some best practices obsolete. We'd like to think that we can give some insights into these developments and some practical advice on what to do to keep you within sight of your customers.
