Throw out your prospectuses!

The future of student decision making has taken a dramatic turn. Nick Carr quotes an FT interview with Sergey Brin in this post which has implications for those of us trying to recruit overseas students.


How long will it be before students are going to Google "which university/course should I choose?"

To a certain extent this is already happening, with students using the web as a research tool - but if the algorithms get better, who knows where the influence of the search engines will stop...
