London 2012 brand - Emperor's New Clothes?

Well, it has it’s plus points – it contains some relevant elements: it has the word London, it contains the Olympic rings, and it apparently makes up the figures in 2012, albeit in an artistic way.

More thoughts on logos

Why did the 2012 logo cause so much debate - and so much of it hostile? Apart from the obvious answer here in the UK, i.e. it was featured heavily on the BBC news, I think it's because of the increasing obsession with logos and their appeal (or not) to people.

Everybodies talkin' 'bout it

Yes, it's true. Maybe it's the noise about that logo, or because the soon to be ex-PM has admitted that New Labour were a little bit over-zealous in courting the press, or maybe it's just that everyone speaks marketing now...
