Martin McEwan has a distinguished marketing background in industry, charitable, political and public sectors at strategic level, including global marketing strategy, research, segmentation, “holistic” or comprehensive branding and other marketing communications.
A pioneer in international segmentation and targeting, Martin’s experience includes being the first Director of Marketing for the British Council (the UK’s international cultural and educational organisation around the world), the Labour Party where he was Head of Marketing and Income Generation, the RNIB where he was Head of Donor Development as well as other roles in local authorities and senior marketing roles in industry. Martin’s qualifications include an MBA and the CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing and he is an associate member of the Institute of Management Consulting.
Wesley Hackett has extensive experience in a range of marketing disciplines, is a specialist in education marketing, and has recently been responsible for e-marketing strategy at a global level. Wesley was responsible for the creation, implementation and ongoing marketing of the Education UK website, the most popular student recruitment site for overseas students coming to the UK to study. The site was the first of its kind and now has 25 country versions in over 10 languages. Wesley has commissioned research into the motivations of overseas students coming to the UK and also whilst they study here, resulting in a profound understanding of what products and services are necessary to succeed in attracting students to the UK and the individual institution. Wesley is an associate member of the Institute of Management Consultants. |
